HIP-3 brought builder-deployed markets to Hyperliquid, and gold was one of the first to find real volume. GOLD-PERP trades on the same on-chain central limit order book as BTC — sub-second blocks, transparent funding, no CFD broker in the middle. Tape treats it as a first-class market: dedicated depth, funding history, and whale-flow tracking the generic UIs do not bother with.
