What is Tape?

Tape is a Hyperliquid data and analytics terminal at tapeperp.com. It brings together a live markets radar (funding, open interest, volume, premium), live positioning from the top wallets, a sampled trader leaderboard, and AI-assisted wallet analytics, free to view with no signup, power features are Tape Pro. Tape is analytics-only: it does not place trades, route orders, or hold any keys or funds.

Is Tape free?

Dashboards are free to view with no signup. Basic MCP read tools are $0 per call. Gemini wallet reads are $0.01 per call, signals are $0.03 per call, and whale prints are $0.01 per call. Grok voice is $0.10 per call. Pro is $9 for 7 days or $39 for 30 days in USDC, or $39 per month by card, and includes Gemini wallet reads for that term. Desk is $299 per month by card.

Does Tape place trades or hold funds?

No. Tape is analytics-only and fully non-custodial. It reads public Hyperliquid data and never connects to your account, places trades, routes orders, holds keys, or has withdrawal rights.

What can I track on Tape?

Tape lets you scan every Hyperliquid perpetual by funding, open interest and volume on the Markets Radar; read rules-based setups and a long/short market consensus on Signals; watch large fills and net flow on Whale Prints; rank a sampled set of wallets on the Leaderboard; and open a live analytics dashboard for any wallet showing equity, leverage, open positions, distance-to-liquidation, trade history, and an AI read.

Who is Tape for?

Tape is built for two rooms that usually don't share a screen: crypto perp traders (funding, whale flow, wallet risk) and traditional-market readers (Treasury curve, textbook technicals on /tradfi). Everyone reads free with no wallet to connect. Pro ($9 / 7 days or $39 / 30 days) adds delivery: an API key, AI wallet reads and a private Telegram feed. Desk ($299/mo) is the API/data tier. AI agents pay a few cents of USDC per call via x402 — no account, no API key.

Can I trade on Tape?

No. Tape is read-only analytics. You execute wherever you already trade. A future Tape Wallet is on a waitlist and is not released.

Why use Tape if I already use Hyperliquid?

Tape is a pure analytics layer on top of Hyperliquid's public data, markets radar, sampled-wallet positioning, a sampled trader leaderboard, wallet analytics with AI, and live signals, all in one screen. It does not place trades; you execute wherever you already do. It's the research terminal, not another exchange.

What exactly can Tape charge me?

Dashboards are free to view. Basic MCP read tools are $0 per call. Gemini wallet reads are $0.01 per call, signals $0.03 per call, whale prints $0.01 per call, and Grok voice $0.10 per call. Stop calling to cancel a per-call tool. Pro is $9 for 7 days or $39 for 30 days in USDC, or $39 per month by card (API key at 300 req/min, Gemini wallet reads included for the term, watchlist cap lift, private Telegram desk feed). Desk is $299 per month by card (1,200 req/min and the signals embed). Cancel a card plan from the account page before the next Stripe renewal. A USDC pass ends when its term ends and does not renew.

Is there a points program or token?

No, and we're not teasing one. There is no token and no points. The paid tiers are priced in plain dollars.

Is it live?

Yes — every analytics surface is live now: the read-only terminal, markets radar, live signals, leaderboard, and wallet analytics, all from the Hyperliquid API. No wallet or signup needed. Tape does not place trades.

Is the Telegram private chat live?

Yes. Pro subscribers open the personal bot link on /account and press Start — @tapeperp1_alerts_bot verifies the pass and delivers the desk feed in that private chat. Public headlines stay on @tapeperpanalytics.
