Refund Policy

DRAFT — not yet legal advice. This document is a starting template generated for review. Have it reviewed and finalized by a licensed attorney in the relevant jurisdiction before you rely on it or charge real money. Bracketed [PLACEHOLDERS] must be completed.

This Refund Policy applies to paid features of Tape (tapeperp.com), including per-call API access paid via the x402 protocol in USDC.

1. Digital Services, Delivered Immediately

Paid analytics are digital services delivered at the moment of payment. Because the service is rendered immediately and crypto payments settle irreversibly on-chain, payments are generally non-refundable once the response has been delivered.

2. Failed or Duplicate Charges

If you were charged but did not receive a successful response, or were charged more than once for the same request, contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL] with the transaction hash. Where we verify a genuine failed or duplicate settlement, we will work in good faith to issue a corresponding USDC refund to the paying wallet [SPECIFY TIMELINE / CONDITIONS WITH COUNSEL].

3. Builder Fees

Builder fees on trades are charged and enforced on the Hyperliquid L1 as part of on-chain settlement and are not separately refundable by Tape.

4. How to Request a Review

Email [CONTACT EMAIL] within [N] days with: the paying wallet address, the resource/endpoint, the timestamp, and the transaction hash. We may request additional verification.

5. Changes

We may update this policy; the date above reflects the latest version.

Tape is a non-custodial, informational interface to Hyperliquid. Nothing here is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Trading perpetual futures involves substantial risk of total loss.
